MISSION STATEMENT
The specific and primary purposes of the Port Isabel Chamber of Commerce are as follows:

1. To promote business, community growth and development of the City of Port Isabel. To advance the general welfare and prosperity of the City of Port Isabel so that its citizens and its business community shall prosper;

2. To promote programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the
community;

3. To preserve the competitive enterprise system of business by creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of the businessman and a concern for his problems.

In summary, the Port Isabel Chamber of Commerce is organized to promote business and community growth, to promote tourism, to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the city so that its business people will prosper and to enhance the quality of life and values of the community.
